Edward's Background

Edward was born and raised in “The Garlic Capital of the World”, Gilroy, California. He and his large extended family have long been deep rooted within the small community of Gilroy and are appropriately proud of such. Edward attended the local schools and after graduating from Gilroy High School he spent the next few years at Cabrillo College in Aptos, pursuing his A.S. Degree in Fire Science. Edward’s compassion for others led him to accept a position with the City of Gilroy as a Paid-Call Firefighter; earning himself the title of “Paid-Call Firefighter of the Year” in 1998. As time progressed, Edward began another career in waste water treatment, where he exceled in the complexity of chemistry and waste water, which in turn, provided safe reclaimed water back into the community.

Juggling career and family, Edward has been active with The Gilroy Little League, holding positions as a coach for his 9 year old son, division director and as their safety director. Currently, Edward is the head coach for the Gilroy High School’s Junior Varsity Boys basketball team. Edward’s hobbies and interests would find him playing out on a softball field, playing basketball or preparing a barbeque for his family and friends. He has also been witnessed assisting those in need with hosting fundraisers and events to ensure those in need with the comfort of community and support.

In 2013, after a nudge of encouragement from his longtime friend, Ryan Mull, Edward joined the exciting world of real estate and joined Windermere Valley Properties; a decision he believes will benefit long time locals and those seeking to become one, alike. His real estate territories include Santa Clara County, San Benito County, Santa Cruz County and Monterey County.
